The terms for ImpactAction’s text message program: what we send, how often, what it costs, and how to get help or stop.
1. Program Description
By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from ImpactAction, including voting reminders, election information, advocacy updates, and volunteer opportunities.
2. How You Opt In
You opt in by checking the consent box on our text sign-up form at https://impactaction.vote/text-updates/ and submitting the form.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary, up to 8 messages per month.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
5. Opt Out
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again.
6. Help
For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at contact@impactaction.vote.
7. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will not share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
